There is a DPI user meeting :
Preliminary Announcement Farfield DPI user meeting 2013:
Following on from last years successful event this year’s user meeting will be held sometime in June 2013, at the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK.Hosted by Dr Thomas Jowitt (Faculty of Lifesciences) and Prof. Jain Lu (Biological Physics Group, School of Physics and Astronomy)

There will be a training section. Last year we had one on data analysis and one on modelling. This year will probably be similar. If you have any particular request let us know.

Last years meeting proved to be a insightful and stimulating discussion, bringing together physicists, biochemists, food technology researchers and chemists. It was extremely interesting to hear the different applications that the Farfield has, the developments that different labs are creating and to discuss various issues and problems that we might have. We are holding another users meting this year at Manchester University with a similar format to the last meeting. It will be held from the afternoon of the first day, with an evening stop-over and finishing approximately 4.30 pm the following day. Due to some possible conflicts with dates there is a doodle poll so we can choose the dates when the majority of those who wish to come are available. Please can you pass this on to those you think may like to come as it is open to all whether they are just interested in using a dual polarisation interferometer or have been sat at one for the last few years. www.doodle.com/5gmdk49un4arck5q |
